Reliability is the percentage of scheduled sailings completed. Punctuality is the percentage departing within 10 minutes of schedule. Each receives a letter grade; the overall grade is the weaker of the two.
Route figures and system headlines use BC Ferries’ complete FY2026 Sailing Statistics, covering April 2025 through March 2026.
A receipt, not a second status board.
The site polls community-accessible BC Ferries sailing data and records delayed and cancelled departures. Repeated checks of the same route, direction, scheduled time, and service day are displayed as one sailing with its latest observation.
Published reporting and firsthand records stay distinct.
Incident pages cite event-specific reporting where available. Firsthand rider records are labelled as such. Policy sources establish possible eligibility; they do not prove that an event occurred or guarantee compensation.
